nature has been a powerful inspiration for artists. Creating works of art in
response to the environment allows us to experience and appreciate the

sustainability, it is all the more important to develop a strong relationship
with the earth and pay homage to it in one of the best ways possible- through
art!
This summer, June
30th through August 14th, Dedee Shattuck Gallery will host children's
art classes on their grounds and inside their new sustainable artist studio. Participants
will learn various ways to combine nature and art through their creativity
and be introduced to fundamental elements of the artistic
process. They invite ages 9 to 14, to join us
for seven weeks of art and theatre classes exploring the relationship
between art and the environment. Sculpture: Andy Goldsworthy style
